Entrance level platforms move horizontally only and upper level platforms move vertically, meanwhile top level platforms move vertically only and lower level platform move horizontally, with always one column of platforms less except the top level platform. To collect a car parked on the upper level, the lower level platforms will first move to one side to provide an empty space into which the required platform is lowered.
