One of the most acute problems of modern conditions of multi-apartment development is expensive solutions to the problem of locating vehicles. Today, one of the traditional solutions to this problem is the forced allocation of large plots of land for parking for residents and their guests. This solution to the problem - the placement of vehicles in the courtyards significantly reduces the economic effect of using the land allocated for development.
Another traditional solution for the placement of vehicles by the developer is the construction of a reinforced concrete multi-level parking lot. This option requires a long-term investment. Often the cost of parking spaces in such parking lots is high and their complete sale, and therefore, the full refund and profit by the developer stretches for many years. The use of mechanized parking allows the developer to allocate a much smaller area for the installation of mechanized parking in the future, and to purchase equipment in the presence of real demand and payment from the consumer. This becomes possible, since the period of manufacture and installation of parking is 4 - 6 months. This solution enables the developer not to "freeze" large sums of money for the construction of a parking lot, but to use financial resources with a great economic effect.
Mechanized automatic parking (MAP) - a parking system, made in two or more levels of a metal or concrete structure / structure, for storing cars, in which parking / issuance is carried out automatically, using special mechanized devices. The movement of the car inside the parking occurs with the car engine turned off and without the presence of a person. Compared to traditional car parks, automatic car parks save a lot of space allocated for parking due to the possibility of placing more parking spaces on the same building area (Figure).
